In het artikel van vanochtend over Lewis Hamilton wordt er gesproken over een heuse strijd tussen hem en Michael Schumacher tijdens de World Kart Championship Finals. De Duitser kwam eenmalig terug om te kunnen racen op zijn vaders kartbaan in Kerpen, waar de voormalig Ferrari-coureur is opgegroeid. De racelegende nam deze uitdaging serieus en viel zelfs drie kilo af. De meervoudig wereldkampioen was het nog niet verleerd en zette zelfs in de eerste dagen van het evenement een track record neer. In hun verdere carrière zouden de twee elkaar nog vaak bestrijden in de koningsklasse. Geniet van deze bijzondere en historische beelden.
