Mercedes leek de race te gaan winnen met een van hun coureurs, maar door een grote blunder bij Valtteri Bottas en George Russell, was die droom over.

Mercedes schroefde de verkeerde band onder de bolide van Russell, die later ook nog eens een lekke band kreeg. Bij Bottas gebeurde er dit:

Ik vond het klote voor beiden coureurs. Door de SC zou het weer een heuse battle worden tussen Russell en Bottas.
Ik gun al het succes voor Perez, maar het verlies voor Russell doet bij mij meer zeer dan de pret van Perez zijn winst.
Ik gunde hem een trofee. Ik gunde hem alle credits.

      Maar dan meer, waarom gebeurt dit dan niet wanneer Hamilton in de auto zit? Uitgerekend dit weekend gaat het zo mis.

    Niet om aan te zien. Alhoewel (laten we eerlijk zijn) het extra pijn doet omdat Russel voor het team reed in plaats van de Hamster. Als Hamilton zoiets had overkomen, moet je dan de zoutzuurtjes horen. Zelfde bij Ferrari trouwens met Vettel. Ook daar gaat keer op keer iets fout. En ik kijk naar jou Ferrari 🤨.

      Voor Bottas was het ook wel zuur , gooien ze hem uit paniek tijdens de pitstop dezelfde banden weer op de auto die ze er een paar seconden eerder nog af hebben gehaald , dus hij reed weg met oude banden en die stop was dus helemaal voor niks geweest

    Ongelofelijk. En dan de radio de schuld geven. Alsof je niet kunt zien wie er voor je neus staat en dat er maar vier banden zijn in plaats van acht. Niet diskwalificatie Russell slaat ook nergens op. Typisch zieligheidsoordeel.
