Karten is en blijft voor veel Formule 1-coureurs een favoriete vorm van tijdverdrijf buiten het seizoen om. Zo ook voor Carlos Sainz, de rijder die deze winter het team van McLaren verruilt voor Ferrari. De Spanjaard laat zien dat hij het karten nog altijd niet verleerd is. In onderstaande video stoomt hij binnen mum van tijd van de laatste plaats naar voren om de leiding te pakken.
