Romain Grosjean mag verband om zijn hand definitief afdoen

Romain Grosjean is definitief verlost van het verband om zijn verbrande linkerhand. De Fransman raakte ongeveer anderhalve maand geleden gewond bij een huiveringwekkende crash tijdens de openingsronde van de Grand Prix van Bahrein. Wonder boven wonder overleefde hij die vuurzee, maar hij hield er wel brandwonden aan zijn handen aan over.

Vooral zijn linkerhand was gehavend. De wonden helen echter goed en de artsen hebben gisteren definitief het verband verwijderd. Grosjean mocht vorige week al vijf uur zonder verband rondlopen en hij kon zondag een hele dag wennen aan het idee dat hij geen verband meer nodig zou hebben. Op maandag kon hij het verband dan eindelijk definitief afdoen.
