Romain Grosjean deelt schokkende foto van verbrande hand

Oud Formule 1-coureur Romain Grosjean is letterlijk en figuurlijk aan de beterende hand. De Fransman liep anderhalve maand geleden bij een schrikbarende crash in de openingsronde van de Grand Prix van Bahrein brandwonden aan beide handen op. Vooral zijn linkerhand was er erg aan toe.

Het gaat inmiddels stukken beter en sinds begin deze week hoeft Grosjean geen verband meer om zijn hand te dragen. De Fransman heeft via zijn social media-kanalen een foto gedeeld van hoe zijn handen er nu uitzien. Die foto toont hoeveel schade de vuurzee heeft aangericht.

De rechterhand van Grosjean ziet er op zich prima uit, met alleen een groot litteken. De linkerhand van de Fransman is echter zwaar gehavend. Een groot oppervlak van de hand is verbrand en rond de knokkel van de wijsvinger is duidelijk dat hij geen seconde langer in het brandende wrak had kunnen blijven.
