'Presentatie Aston Martin gepland voor eerste week van maart'

Aston Martin F1 Team is van plan om de auto voor het komende Formule 1-seizoen in de eerste week van maart te onthullen. Dat bericht brengt Sport Bild. Met een presentatiedatum begin maart volgt Aston Martin F1 Team het voorbeeld van Mercedes, dat op 2 maart de nieuwe bolide toont.

Sport Bild deed ook een boekje open over welke rol Aston Martin voor ogen heeft voor nieuwe coureur Sebastian Vettel. De viervoudig wereldkampioen wordt een belangrijke ambassadeur voor het merk en heeft recent al een reclamespotje voor zijn nieuwe werkgever opgenomen in Zwitserland.

Vettel zal de komende maand veelvuldig naar de fabriek van Aston Martin F1 Team in Silverstone afreizen. Het team bepaalt het exacte schema in samenspraak met de Duitser en de contactmomenten worden pas op het laatste moment in een definitieve vorm gegoten, zodat zo min mogelijk mensen op de hoogte zijn van zijn komst en om ervoor te zorgen dat het rustig is op de fabriek om te voldoen aan de coronamaatregelen.
