Williams steunt ook komend seizoen het goede doel SIA

Het team van Williams ruimt ook komend seizoen weer een plekje op de bolide in voor het logo van het goede doel Spinal Injuries Association (SIA). De Britse renstal steunt daarmee de instantie die onderzoek doet naar aandoeningen aan de ruggenwervel en de mensen die daar last van hebben bijstaat. SIA is al sinds 2015 het officiële goede doel van Williams.

Naast het logo van SIA op de FW43B om de naamsbekendheid van de organisatie te vergroten, zullen coureurs Nicholas Latifi en George Russell hun steentje bijdragen om het goede doel te helpen. Bovendien stelt Williams unieke veilingsitems beschikbaar waarmee SIA geld kan inzamelen.

Tim Hunt, marketingdirecteur bij Williams: "We zijn verguld om de steun aan de Spinal Injuries Association voort te zetten. De SIA is een goed doel dat zich inspant om de levens van degenen die getroffen zijn door aandoeningen of verwondingen aan de ruggenwervel te verbeteren, omdat die mensen vaak in moeilijke omstandigheden verkeren. Het team is SIA ontzettend dankbaar en we kijken ernaar om meer naamsbekendheid voor deze instantie te genereren."
