Ferrari presenteert nieuwe wagen op 10 maart

De nieuwe wagen van Ferrari - de SF21 - wordt gelancheerd op woensdag 10 maart. Tijdens een online-prestatie zal de bolide worden getoond. De teampresentatie is op 26 februari. Vandaag gaf Ferrari al een klein voorproefje in een video met het opstarten van de gloednieuwe krachtbron.

Het motorblok was namelijk het voorgaande seizoen de belangrijkste achilleshiel. De V6-hybride kwam schromelijk tekort in vergelijking met de concurrentie. Een zesde plaats in de eindstand was het gevolg. In 2021 nieuwe ronden, nieuwe kansen, ook volgens teambaas Mattia Binotto. "Ons seizoen start hier. We kunnen veel veranderingen verwachten en we zijn gebrand om het beter te doen", zei de CEO tegen zijn werknemers. "De auto is verbeterd op alle gebieden waar het mocht. We moeten gemotiveerd en gefocust te werk gaan naar het punt waar we willen staan", doelt de Italiaan op het broodnodige succes.
