Audio: Mercedes start de auto voor 2021 voor de eerste keer op

Mercedes heeft de zogenaamde fire-up van de bolide voor komend seizoen achter de rug. Voor de Formule 1-teams is het voor het eerst opstarten van de nieuwe auto altijd even een spannend moment, een mijlpaal die ze graag af willen vinken op weg naar een nieuwe jaargang. Vandaar dat de renstallen vol trots melden wanneer een fire-up succesvol is verlopen, zo ook wereldkampioen Mercedes. Het Duitse team presenteert de W12 op 2 maart, maar hier is alvast een geluidsfragmentje van hoe de auto klinkt:
