Derde seizoen van 'Drive to Survive' vanaf 19 maart op Netflix

Streamingdienst Netflix heeft eindelijk de releasedatum voor het nieuwste seizoen van de serie Drive to Survive prijsgegeven. Het derde seizoen van de populaire Formule 1-serie is vanaf 19 maart te zien. De liefhebbers hebben dus iets meer dan een week om alle afleveringen te bekijken voordat het seizoen 2021 op 28 maart in Bahrein van start gaat.

Net als in de voorgaande twee seizoenen werpt Drive to Survive­ in seizoen drie een blik achter de schermen in de koningsklasse van de autosport, dit keer tijdens het coronajaar 2020. Het mondde uit in een gemankeerd en toch fascinerend seizoen waarin het nodige gebeurde. Producent Paul Martin noemt dit 'het beste seizoen tot nu toe' van Drive to Survive. De serie is dus vanaf 19 maart te zien via Netflix.

      Precies! Vanaf de afgelopen week (carnavalsvakantie). Nu moet ik t er in n paar avonden hlml doorheen knallen want als 2021 begonnen is is de honger gestild en is 2020 stukken minder interessant nog.

      Het is zeker vermakelijk maar verdient m.i. niet de naam documentaire te hebben, DTS gebruikt te veel knip- en plakwerk en bv een "live" commentator die maanden na dato alles gescript heeft ingesproken om er een mooie verhaallijn in te krijgen. De werkelijkheid die DTS ons presenteert is een 'subjectieve constructie'
