Mick Schumacher betreedt F1 met dezelfde sponsor als zijn vader

Deutsche Vermögensberatung, kortweg DVAG, keert komend seizoen terug in de Formule 1. Dat doet de Duitse financiële instelling aan de zijde van Haas F1-debutant Mick Schumacher. DVAG is al jaren aan de zoon van Michael Schumacher verbonden en volgt de jonge Duitser dus ook naar de koningsklasse van de autosport.

DVAG siert komend seizoen de rijderscap van Mick Schumacher. Daarmee is de cirkel rond, aangezien de firma 25 jaar geleden begon met de sponsoring van Michael Schumacher. Sindsdien hebben de familie Schumacher en de DVAG-oprichtersfamilie Pohl elkaar niet meer losgelaten. De beide families hebben zelfs een vriendschapsband opgebouwd.

Dat resulteert erin dat Mick Schumacher de Formule 1 betreedt met dezelfde sponsor als zijn legendarische vader. "DVAG zal altijd mijn eerste partner blijven en ik ben trots dat we deze hechte relatie voortzetten", begint de jonge Duitser. "Het emotioneert me om te beseffen dat DVAG al een kwart eeuw een goede vriend is van de Schumachers. En ik vind het een hele eer dat ik nu het merk mag vertegenwoordigen in de Formule 1."

DVAG-directielid Robert Peil: "Na meer dan 25 jaar aan de zijde van Michael Schumacher, was deze stap met Mick Schumacher niet meer dan logisch voor ons. Voor velen van onze 17.000 financieel adviseurs geldt Mick, net als zijn vader eerder, als een partner en een rolmodel. Met zijn extreme gretigheid om te presteren, zijn bereidheid om te leren en zijn nuchtere attitude belichaamt Mick de waarden die DVAG en Michael eerder meer dan twee decennia aan elkaar verbonden hield. We wensen hem dan ook veel succes toe voor zijn debuutseizoen in de Formule 1."

Mag ik even zeggen dat ik dit een rete gave helm vindt! Kanonnen hey! Ik vind deze nog mooier dan de iconische helm van zijn vader. Bovenop is de layout hetzelfde als die van Michael, alleen dat felgroene vind ik echt prachtig, maar dan daarnaast ook nog de Duitse vlag erin verwerkt maakt hij voor mij af.

Ik hoop voor hem dat Haas iets uit kan richten want de voortekenen zijn bedroevend.

  tuurlijk mag jij dat zeggen! ik ben persoonlijk niet zo'n fan van dat gifgroen, maar de helmkleuren van zijn vader zijn uiteraard wunderbar!!

  Ik hoop vooral dat ie zijn helmontwerp houdt. Wat mis ik het iconische van de helmen van vroeger. Ik kon vroeger elke rijder op helmontwerp alleen uit elkaar houden. Nu veranderen ze elke week en zijn het meer verharde sponsormutsen dan iets identificerend.

Offtopic: t schijnt dat Mika Salo perongelijk heeft verklapt wat de straf van Ferrari & klantenteams nou inhield? Iets met te weinig benzine moeten starten om zo t vermogen expres te moeten drukken? Zou wel verklaren waarom Ferrari soms op 1 ronde nog best snel was.
