McLaren versterkt commerciële afdeling met Cronin en Eckhouse

Het team van McLaren heeft twee nieuwe medewerkers aangetrokken voor de commerciële afdeling. Het gaat om Claire Cronin en Lindsey Eckhouse. In april beginnen ze met hun werkzaamheden voor de Britse renstal en in eerste instantie leggen ze verantwoording af aan commercieel directeur Mark Waller.

Waller zal eind dit jaar echter zijn taken neerleggen en terugkeren naar de Verenigde Staten. Het is de bedoeling dat Cronin dan zijn functie overneemt. Cronin was eerder als marketingdirecteur werkzaam bij Virgin Atlantic. Eckhouse komt over van G2 esports, waar ze op dit moment de positie van commercieel directeur bekleedt.

McLaren-baas Zak Brown is in zijn nopjes met de twee aanwinsten. "We zijn blij dat we de commerciële afdeling kunnen versterken met Claire en Lindsey. McLaren Racing blijft groeien en deze stappen reflecteren het positieve momentum dat we op en naast de baan opbouwen. Hierdoor zijn we verzekerd van een soepele transitie wanneer Mark zijn post verlaat en we zijn hem dankbaar voor de bijdrages die hij sinds begin 2019 bij ons heeft geleverd."
