Formule 1 slaat de handen ineen met koffieproducent Drive Coffee

De Formule 1 heeft een nieuwe partner aan de haak geslagen. Het gaat om Drive Coffee, een in 2017 opgerichte koffieproducent. De firma vertolkt bij de Formule 1 de rol van officiële koffieleverancier en zal bij elke Grand Prix vertegenwoordigd zijn om kopjes koffie te schenken, ook in de Paddock Club. Het betreft een meerjarige overeenkomst.

De koningsklasse van de autosport is mede vanwege duurzaamheid en ethiek in zee gegaan met Drive Coffee. Het bedrijf spant zich namelijk in voor een duurzamere wereld en hecht volgens het persbericht meer waarde aan de herkomst van de koffiebonen dan de grotere en bekendere merken.

Ben Pincus, directeur commerciële samenwerkingen bij de Formule 1: "We zijn verguld om Drive Coffee als officiële koffieleverancier aan te kondigen voor het begin van het nieuwe seizoen. Hun hoogwaardige product, onvermoeibare jacht op verbetering en passie voor de sport zullen ons in staat stellen om fans op een nieuwe manier te bereiken en hen van de benodigde brandstof te voorzien voor het langste seizoen in de geschiedenis van de Formule 1. We kunnen niet wachten totdat de fans de samen met Drive Coffee ontwikkelde koffie uit kunnen proberen!"

Drive Coffee-oprichter Alex Grappo voegt toe: "De unieke omstandigheden van de voorbije achttien maanden hebben ons alleen maar meer vastberaden gemaakt om onze kernwaarden uit te dragen, namelijk mensen energiek en optimistisch houden en ze inspireren in tijden van uitdagingen en tegenslagen. De manier waarop mensen hun dag beginnen is bepalend voor het verdere verloop van die dag. Door het vertrouwen dat de Formule 1 in ons heeft kunnen we miljoenen Formule 1-fans in staat stellen elke ochtend te beginnen met een ervaring die geïnspireerd is op een van hun grootste passies."
