Video: Één coureur uitgevallen, drie met schade en goede start Verstappen na eerste ronde GP Stiermarken

Tijdens de eerste ronde zijn er al veel schadeclaims binnengekomen. Dit keer was het te doen in het midden van het veld, met Lewis Hamilton die schade meldde als enige vooraan in het veld.

Ferrari-coureur Charles Leclerc heeft zijn voorvleugel kapot gereden. Hij reed tegen de band aan van Pierre Gasly. De Monegask moest zijn voorvleugel laten vervangen, terwijl Pierre Gasly niet meer verder kon racen. Zijn lekke band zorgde voor een kapotte ophanging. Nicholas Latifi kreeg ook een lekke band in de eerste ronde.

Sterker nog niet eens een onderzoek nodig, aldus de wedstrijdleiding.

En dat terwijl hij op het rechte stuk gewoon de achterband van Gasly kapot snijdt omdat hij heel snel in de slipstream wil duiken. Als dit niet "causing a collision" is dan hoef je nooit meer ergens een straf voor te geven. O... [Lees verder]

    En voor het 2e jaar op rij weet Leclerc zijn race, en die van een ander (vorig jaar was teamgenoot Vettel de Sjaak) te verstieren in Oostenrijk, das knap!

      Leclerc zal best een snelle rijder zijn maar hij lijkt zowat elke race iemand een ros te geven. Nu ook weer en dan nog driver of the day worden ook...

      Het gekke is dat ie (bijna) nooit straf krijgt voor z'n domme actie's de afgelopen jaren. Hij komt overal mee weg zelfs een Gasly mag uitvallen door hem en dan nog 'no further action'.
