Bernie Ecclestone geniet na zijn "ontslag" van het opgroeien van zijn zoon

Voormalig F1-baas Bernie Ecclestone mist het indrukwekkende motorgebrul van weleer in de Formule 1. Ondanks het gemis van het gebrul van motoren, vindt Ecclestone dat 2021 "erg spannend" is vanwege de hevige titelstrijd tussen Max Verstappen en Lewis Hamilton. Na zijn afscheid van zijn actieve rol binnen de Formule 1 is er echter veel meer tijd voor de belangrijkere zaken in het leven, stelt de bejaarde Ecclestone.

Ecclestone wordt wat filosofisch als hem wordt gevraagd naar de manier waarop hij de Formule 1 verliet.

"Ontslagen"

"Ik ben ontslagen", antwoordt hij bot. "Als je na 40 jaar niet meer nodig bent, moet je het accepteren en vergeten, maar ik ben niet begonnen met drinken of zo. Ik hou niet van alcohol."

'Sprintkwalificatie'

Ecclestone kijkt uit naar het nieuwe 'sprintkwalificatie'-format dat op Silverstone voor het eerst wordt gehanteerd. Ecclestone onthult dat hij "de kwalificatie altijd spannender heeft gevonden dan de race".

Vader

Wat betreft zijn hernieuwde kennismaking met het leven als vader, zegt Ecclestone dat hij de eerste keer veel gemist heeft vanwege zijn F1-levensstijl.

Ecclestone: "Het meest interessante is om mijn zoon elke dag te zien opgroeien, omdat er elke dag iets nieuws gebeurt. Ace viert zijn eerste verjaardag, daarom kon ik niet naar Oostenrijk komen."

Ecclestone geeft toe dat hij te weinig tijd heeft gestoken in zijn dochters. "Ik had nooit zoveel tijd voor mijn dochters omdat ik het altijd druk had, maar als je ouder wordt, besef je dat er niet veel tijd meer over is. Dus ik probeer mijn tijd zo verstandig mogelijk te benutten."

De man is ondertussen 90! Net een kind van 1jaar en ziet er super uit voor z'n leeftijd waar 90% in eender welke toestand nooit aan zal raken. Kudos Ernie!

  is ooit uitgelegd in de podcast van Joe Rogan ,
  Bernie en nog wat rijken op deze planeet krijgen bloedtransfusies met gedoneerd bloed van jongeren ,daar zitten namelijk stoffen in die mensen boven de 30 niet meer hebben ,en die maken dat je makkelijk veel ouder wordt .
  wel legaal ,maar bedenkelijke praktijken ,niet echt etisch.

  Dat verhaal ligt wel een heel stuk genuanceerder hoor. Het is gewoon begonnen als onderzoek om te kijken of de veroudering dan inderdaad anders zou verlopen of ouderen wat te kunnen laten verjongen.
  
  Het is absoluut niet bewezen dat het echt helpt, al zoud het onderzoek wel bemoedigde resultaten hebben behaald.
  Daarnaast is het overigens niet zonder andere risico's.

  Weet niet meer welke JRE (nog de youtube versie ) maar hij sprak met een gast over bloedplasma transfusies door rijken ,en grapte toen (met serieuze ondertoon) dat Ecclestone altijd een koelkast met zakken bloed op voorraad had in zn prive jet.
  volgens mij kwam er een paar maanden daarna in europa nieuwe wetgeving wat deze praktijken onmogelijk maakt voor de "gewoon"rijken,want het werd te populair, alleen nog miliardairs als Bernie ,presidenten ,koningshuizen .
