Lando Norris bedankt fans en zegt dat het goed met hem gaat na roofoverval

Lando Norris zegt dat het goed met hem gaat nadat hij in het Wembley Stadion werd beroofd van zijn horloge. 

De McLaren-coureur woonde de EK-finale tussen Italië en Engeland bij in het Wembley-stadion. De overval zou na afloop hebben plaatsgevonden.

McLaren reageerde gisteren met een persbericht op de laffe overval, waarbij het kostbare horloge van de pols van Norris werd geroofd. 

Norris laat nu weten dat het goed met hem gaat. De jonge Britse coureur zegt veel steun te hebben gehad van zijn fans, hij bedankt dan ook voor de berichten en steun die hij kreeg na deze gebeurtenis.

Hij zegt zich te focussen op de Britse Grand Prix die komend weekend op het programma staat op het bekende Circuit Silverstone, waar Norris extra gemotiveerd het stuurtje van zijn McLaren zal heen en weer bewegen terwijl hij de pedalen van de McLaren bedient tijdens zijn thuisrace.

      Dat dacht ik ook, beetje naïef om zo'n duur horloge om te doen naar zo'n evenement.. Als je weet wat voor tuig er allemaal rondloopt..

      Tsja. Het is te belachelijk voor woorden dat je niet eens meer met een fraai klokje om je pols de deur uit kunt omdat er altijd wel wat licht getinte zijn die je er graag vanaf helpen. Maar dat mag ik niet zeggen natuurlijk. Voor de politiek correcten; kijk Opsporing Verzocht en ga eens tellen welk % onder deze omschrijving valt.

    Heel erg hoor, Maar ze doen net alsof hij net zijn hele familie heeft verloren. Gewoon een old skool overvallinkje. Nieuw klokkie kopen en door. Hij loopt nog net niet bij een psych.

      Pietje, Nee nog nooit. Zou ik ze de kans niet voor geven. ik ga niet rondlopen met een klokkie van 40.000 tussen engelse hooligans.

      Je weet dat dit tuig gewoon bestaat. En nee dit is nooit goed te praten. Maar je leeft in een sprookjes wereld als je denkt dat dit niet kan gebeuren.

      Ik geef toe het niet slim van Lando is, om met zo'n duur horloge tussen hooligans te begeven, en daarmee toch had kunnen bedenken zoiets kan gebeuren.

      Heb zelf een paar duizend euro dure Breitling liggen, al komt die wellicht niet in de buurt van Lando's klokkie, ik zal die echt niet omdoen als ik me ga begeven tussen de massa bij een of ander evenement, dat is vragen om problemen, nog zal je mij met dat soort aangelegenheden dure kleding zien dragen, en met geld zien wapperen, al heb ik wel bijkomstig voordeel op iemand als Lando Norris, ik een onbekende nozem ben, ipv bekend gezicht, dus niemand zal me herkennen als iemand die eventueel geld heeft als ik dit niet toon.

      Maar Roy, het overkomt je gewoon, ik ben ook iemand die dacht zoiets overkomt mij niet, ben niet iemand waarmee je face2face meteen iets bij zou willen flikken, heb toch een redelijk imposant postuur volgens anderen, en ik heb een gezonde dosis paranoia, en hou mijn spullen goed in de gaten.
      Toch ben ik ook slachtoffer geweest van een goed opgezette bedrijfsoverval waarbij ik met een list ben weggelokt, om daarna berooft te zijn van al mijn bedrijfs-apparatuur.

      Pas nadien kwam ik er achter dat ik er in was getuind, toen ik thuis kwam van die fake klus (waar ik dus ook niet voor betaald was, dubbel pech dus) en alle apparatuur weg was, en ben daarmee voor 200.000 euro op de bietenbrug gegaan, gelukkig was ik redelijk goed verzekerd ervoor, toch schade was aanzienelijk vooral je ligt als bedrijf toch even paar dagen plat.

      Ik heb dit natuurlijk weer helemaal gemist, Lando is beroofd begrijp ik. Is hij hierbij bedreigd, geslagen dat soort zaken?

      Verder ben ik het wel met Roy eens, zo enorm traumatisch is het niet om beroofd te worden (is mijn ervaring tenminste), als het een kwestie is van je spullen afgeven en er verder niks gebeurt.

    Op zijn racen en gedrag op het circuit met al die beveiliging zal het (wellicht) geen invloed hebben, maar in het openbare leven zal Norris waarschijnlijk wat meer op zijn hoede zijn nu.
    Zolang hij dat voor zichzelf kan kanaliseren zal het goed met hem blijven gaan.

    Na verloop van tijd kan het negatieve gevoel dat er wellicht/waarschijnlijk nu op de achtergrond speelt, wegebben.
