Het team van Force India verliet Montreal met lege handen. Coureurs Adrian Sutil en Paul di Resta ruïneerden zelf hun eigen kansen op punten met drive through-penalty's. Teambaas Vijah Mallya tikt het duo op weg naar Valencia op de vingers: Onze rijders waren overenthousiast in Canada.

Hij vervolgt: Dat hoort bij racen, we nemen deze teleurstelling in ons op en komen de volgende keer sterker terug. Het was frustrerend omdat de VJM04 extreem competitief was, onze strategie was goed en het was een gemiste kans op een mooi aantal punten.

Na de lage downforce uitdaging van Montreal is het voor Valencia terug naar hoge downforce-afstellingen. We zetten onverminderd onze ontwikkeling voort, met meerdere gedetailleerde vernieuwingen voor komend weekend.
