Groot blockchain bedrijf lijkt in 2022 Formule 1 in te stappen

Opvallend nieuws uit de sponsorhoek van de Formule 1. We zien dit jaar al veel crypto-bedrijven opduiken in de sport zoals bijvoorbeeld Crypto.com. Maar nu lijkt het zo te zijn dat er in 2022 nog een een grote speler bij gaat komen.

Het lijkt er namelijk op dat het open-source blockchain bedrijf Ethereum in 2022 sponsor gaat worden van een Formule 1 team.  Volgens Britse media heeft het bedrijf dit aan hun bekend gemaakt. Over welk team het gaat is nog niet duidelijk maar het laat wel zien dat de Formule 1 in trek is bij crypto-bedrijven.

De afgelopen maanden hebben we namelijk veel meer van dit soort bedrijven op de auto's zien verschijnen. Zo is het bedrijf Tezos sponsor van bijvoorbeeld Red Bull. Ook zijn de logo's van Bitci elk weekend zichtbaar op enkele auto's.

Afgelopen week werd door de Formule 1 een nieuwe inhaal-award in het leven geroepen met ook hier een crypto-sponsor als naamgever. Dat betekent dat de heren coureurs nu de Crypto.com Overtake Award kunnen winnen. Het is afwachten of we in de toekomst nog meer van dit soort bedrijven op de auto's zullen zien schitteren.

      "De nieuwe economie"...

      Er is letterlijk niks zo almachtig om zelfstandig de nieuwe economie te worden. Het kan zich aansluiten aan, en daarbij een grote speler worden, maar het kan niet alles wat nu al bestaat, in 100 jaar vervangen wat men op dit moment economie noemt.
