Bottas zou een meerderjarig contract wel eens leuk vinden

Waar Valtteri Bottas in 2022 rijdt is nog niet bekend. De Finse Mercedes-coureur lijkt zijn stoeltje bij Mercedes te gaan verliezen maar niets is zeker. Wel gaat er geruchten over een mogelijke overstap van de Fin naar Alfa Romeo.

In Zandvoort besprak de Fin bij de gebruikelijke persconferentie zijn wensen voor volgend seizoen: "Een meerderjarig contract zou fijn zijn. Dat is iets wat ik nog nooit heb gehad in de Formule 1." In zijn Mercedes jaren heeft Bottas elke keer maar een contract gehad voor één seizoen en daar was hij niet altijd tevreden mee.

Bottas wil nog niet zeggen waar hij volgend jaar in de cockpit zit. Wel ziet hij een ideaalplaatje voor aankomende jaren voor zich: "Het moet een uitdaging zijn. Het moet wel spannend zijn. Het moet wel leuk zijn, in een sfeer waar ik geniet van het werk. Ik denk dat dat de dingen zijn waar ik naar zoek. Maar zoals ik al eerder zei, ik heb nog steeds een aantal goede jaren in de Formule 1 voor me." Het is afwachten hoe Bottas gaat presteren op Zandvoort, de Fin heeft de afgelopen races nou niet persé grote indruk gemaakt.

Wat dat betreft veel respect voor Bottas. Ieder jaar een eenjarig contract om af te dwingen de bitch voor Hamilton te spelen. Vindt het een gebrek aan respect van Mercedes om zo'n loyale coureur alleen maar een eenjarig contract aan te bieden.

      bij de lokale supermarkt als vakkenvuller. RB/Alfa Boden hem een 1 jarig contract aan, Maar hij zou het wel eens leuk vinden om een meerjarig contract te hebben. Ze weten alleen nog niet welke supermarkt.

      Mercedes gaat hem niet ineens een meerjarig contract aanbieden. Alfa Romeo/ Sauber biedt dat vrijwel standaard aan.

      On a serious note… Bottas schijnt een 2+1 jarig contract getekend te hebben bij Alfa Romeo Orlen Racing. 2 jaar met een optie voor een 3e. Daarna lonkt het F1 pensioen voor hem. Overigens blijft Kubica ook aan en daarmee ook sponsor Orlen.

      Alhoewel het in de geruchtenmolen nog niet duidelijk is wat er met Giovinazzi gebeurt (de één zegt testrijder bij Ferrari en een nieuw Ferrari talent in de Alfa stoel, de ander ziet Gio gewoon blijven. Overigens denk ik niet dat De Vries een kans maakt bij Alfa. Áls er een optie is in de F1, dan zie ik hem eerder bij Williams), vermoed ik dat Gio gewoon blijft waar hij is. Dat krediet heeft hij wel verdiend nu hij bijna iedere race sneller is dan Kimi.

      Dat kan @Pixel, of dat is nog een punt van onderhandeling.
      Dat AR hem een eenjarig contract aanbiedt, maar Valtteri een meerjarig contract wil.

      Toto zei niet voor niets de boel bekend te maken zodra de omstandigheden het toe lieten.

    Van mij mag je gerust blijven .
    Met zo n cv geraak je nog wel aan de bak zekers. Ongetwijfeld gaat deze meneer langs de grote deur naar buiten . Nog een p1 voor de geschiedenis boeken
