Norris te spreken over teammaatjes: "Daniel heel anders dan Carlos"

Lando Norris staat hoog op het lijstje van sympathiekste coureurs van het moment. De jonge McLaren-piloot is heel populair en ook zijn kunsten op het circuit zijn zeker niet slecht. Wat hielp aan zijn populariteit is zijn goede band met voormalig teamgenoot Carlos Sainz.

In gesprek met de Italiaanse sportkrant La Gazzetta dello Sport gaat hij in op zijn band met Sainz en huidig teammaatje Daniel Ricciardo: "Daniel is heel erg anders dan Carlos, ook omdat hij zes jaar ouder is. Ik raakte bevriend met Carlos omdat we allebei van racen houden en we heel erg competitief waren met alles, zelfs golf. We vinden dezelfde dingen leuk en het was makkelijk om met elkaar om te gaan."

Dit seizoen is 'Carlando' uit elkaar getrokken en vormt Norris met Ricciardo een nieuw komisch duo. Hij is ook vol complimenten over de Australiër: "Met Daniel was het anders maar hij is echt dezelfde persoon die je op TV ziet. Hij is erg aardig en we hebben het leuk samen. Hij is een fantastische coureur en ik leer veel van hem."
