Vorige week moesten de coureurs van Red Bull en AlphaTauri opdraven voor een gebruikelijk PR-item op COTA. De heren coureurs moesten een paar fotootjes nemen met een paar gloednieuwe Honda's en Honda-bons Yamamoto. Max Verstappen was wel heel enthousiast.

De Nederlander vertelt zijn collega's wel heel gepassioneerd over het nieuwe model. Al een volleerd autoverkoper geeft hij Perez, Tsunoda, Gasly en Albon alle details over het uitverkochte model. Ook probeert hij bij Yamamoto nog een modelletje los te pulken.

    Die arme Yamamoto; die moet voortdurend scherp zijn wanneer Max bij hem in de buurt is. Zelfs tijdens een fotoshoot. Had ie zijn duimpjes een paar seconden langer omhoog gehouden dan had Max een mooie deal voor hem en zijn maten geritseld ;-)

    Aan het einde van de dag, hoe snel en sportief dan ook, zit er een Honda logo op. Dat blijft toch altijd minder in aanzien dan een Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin en zelfs een Mercedes AMG.

      Dat zijn merken voor dikke ouwe mannen met veel geld en kleine......
      Denk de jongere generatie gemiddeld warmer loopt voor een vet getunde Honda met een knallende Vtec waarmee je knap kan driften, als zo'n dure merkwagen die je per jaar meer kost aan onderhoud als die Honda totaal heeft gekost.

      Ik zou dan nog steeds voor de Giulia gaan, maar wel het model met ruim 500 pk. Valt niet zo op maar gaat wel lekker. Interieur ziet er overigens wel erg lekker uit. Net als bij mooie vrouwen.
