Räikkönen heeft geen toekomst plannen: "Kijk uit naar mijn leven na de sport"

Nog vijf wedstrijden en dan zit de lange Formule 1-carrière van Kimi Räikkönen erop. De Finse Alfa Romeo-vedette lijkt zich echter niet zo druk te maken. Zoals wel vaker blijft hij ijzig kalm onder de naderende situatie. Toekomstplannen komen dan ook nog niet voor in zijn woordenboek.

Als hij naar zijn toekomst wordt gevraagd is Räikkönen dan ook heel duidelijk. De Fin wordt geciteerd door Motorsport-Total.com: "Ik heb er nog niet over nagedacht. Ik kijk er naar uit om aan het einde van het jaar terug te keren naar het normale leven en ik wil ook leuke dingen doen met mijn familie."

In ieder geval gaat The Iceman na het seizoen lekker op vakantie. Ook voor zijn laatste Grand Prix heeft hij nog geen enkel concreet plan klaar liggen. "De familie komt kijken maar verder is het niet heel anders dan tijdens andere races. Ik heb nog geen plannen. Ik kijk uit naar mijn leven na de Formule 1."
