Ferrari voegt toptalenten Bearman en Camara toe aan opleidingsprogramma

Na een mager jaar is Ferrari dit jaar langzamerhand begonnen met een kleine opmars. Het legendarische Italiaanse team staat inmiddels derde in de strijd om het constructeurskampioenschap. Ook staat hun opleidingsprogramma niet stil, de renstal heeft weer enkele toptalenten toegevoegd aan hun juniorenprogramma.

De Ferrari Driver Academy is sinds deze week weer twee toptalenten rijker. Het team heeft namelijk het Britse toptalent Oliver Bearman en de Braziliaanse karter Rafael Camara toegevoegd aan hun jeugdploeg. Camara was de afgelopen jaren succesvol in de kart en maakte indruk op Ferrari bij een Formule 4-test.

Vooral met Bearman slaat Ferrari een zeer grote slag. De zestienjarige Brit won zowel de Italiaanse als Duitse Formule 4-titel. Hij won een groot gedeelte van alle races waar hij aan mee deed. Hij hoopt in de voetsporen te treden van bijvoorbeeld Mick Schumacher, Charles Leclerc en ook Lance Stroll. Het huidige juniorenprogramma bestaat ,door de komst van Bearman en Camara, nu uit tien talenten.
