Formule 1 komt met nieuw logo met nadruk op het hybridetijdperk

De Formule 1 doet hard zijn best om steeds groener en groener te worden. In de huidige wereld is duurzaamheid immers een zeer heet hangijzer. De sport rijdt al sinds 2014 rond met hybridemotoren en is van mening dat het tijd wordt om dat feit eens te benadrukken.

Daarom zien de logo's van de sport er vanaf aankomend weekend ietsje anders uit. In Brazilië valt er namelijk op de logo's te lezen dat de Formule 1 als sinds 2014 wordt aangedreven door hybridemotoren. Het nieuwe logo zal te zien zijn op televisie, in de paddock en nog op diverse andere plekken.

De 'powered by hybrid since 2014' tekst zal voortaan veelvuldig te zien zijn. De sport wil graag zijn steentje bijdragen op het gebied van duurzaamheid. In 2030 wil de Formule 1 geen CO2 meer uitstoten. In 2025 is het de bedoeling dat de races op de kalender duurzame evenementen zijn. Met het nieuwe logo wil de sport in ieder geval uitstralen op de goede weg te zijn.

    De ambities die de F1 heeft is echt mooi en ook goed. Alleen deze marketing, ja het is een feit wat je roept maar misschien moet je accepteren dat de F1 altijd of in ieder geval voor een groot deel geassocieerd zal worden met verbranding/vervuiling en sporten als wielrennen bijvoorbeeld als gezond. Ondanks die hele caravaan aan vervuilende auto’s en bussen die mee rijden. Maar prima.

    Wat ik hiermee bedoel te zeggen, wat is de doelgroep van dit nieuwe logo? De mensen die de sport volgen en nieuw zijn in de sport. Weten al dat er met hybride motoren word gereden of weten dat na 1 race.

    De mensen die de F1 vervuilend vinden ga je hiermee niet overtuigen. Het is namelijk zoiets als dat Shell roept dat zij wel zoveel windmolens hebben geplaatst. Dat overtuigd de mensen er niet van dat Shell gelinkt word aan brandstof en vervuiling.

      Dikke plus Red Slow!

      Desalniettemin kan ik de actie van F1 wel weer waarderen. Men gaat in feite in tegen de hele elektro hype en dat die zogenaamd zo groen is. En dat terwijl er momenteel een onzichtbare en zeer vervuilende/vernietigende oorlog woedt op de bodem van de (Noord)zee om maar zoveel mogelijk grondstoffen te delven voor alle accu's voordat de concurrentie dit doet. En dat delven gaat vaak op een nog vervuilendere manier dan het produceren en blijven rijden met benzine motoren, laat staan met een hybrid. Gelukkig horen we de moraalridders zoals Greenpeace daar waarschijnlijk al in 2155 over, wanneer hun parade paardje genaamd de elektrische auto toch niet zo schoon bleek te zijn zoals men nu propagandeert.

      Dus ja, wat dat aangaat kan ik deze actie van de F1 wel weer waarderen. Voor de rest... bereikt deze boodschap inderdaad de groep waarvoor men hem maakt? Weet men überhaupt aan wie de boodschap is gericht?

    Ik begreep al niet waarom dit niet eerder is doorgevoerd. Dit is een grote stap in het volwassen worden van de formule 1
