Formule E ziet succes 'Drive to Survive' en komt met eigen serie

De Formule 1 heeft de afgelopen jaren een compleet nieuwe doelgroep gevonden dankzij de Netflix-serie 'Drive to Survive'. Alhoewel de reeks veelvuldig wordt bekritiseerd is men er toch tevreden mee. Andere raceklassen zien het succes en kunnen dan ook niet achterblijven.

De elektrische Formule E heeft namelijk zijn eigen real-life serie gefilmd tijdens het afgelopen seizoen. Waar de Formule 1 samenwerkte met streamingsdienst Netflix, heeft de Formule E de serie in eigen beheer. De reeks is namelijk geproduceerd door dezelfde partij die ook verantwoordelijk is voor de live-uitzendingen. 

De Formule E reeks zal gaan luisteren naar de naam 'Unplugged'. De serie zal gratis voor iedereen te zien zijn. Vanaf 22 november zullen er afleveringen verschijnen op het YouTube-kanaal van de Formule E. Net als bij 'Drive to Survive' zal de focus van de serie vooral liggen op wat de teams en coureurs uitspoken.

    Ik moet zeggen dat electriciteit de beste uitvinding van de moderne tijd is.

    Ik noem de electrische gitaar, de allermooiste uitvinding aller tijden.

    Op nummer twee is de electrische deken, lekker nu met zulke weer.

    De elektrische auto komt in mijn lijstje niet voor.
