Grand Prix van België niet zeker van plek op F1-kalender in 2022

De Grand Prix van België is zijn plek voor 2022 op de F1-kalender nog altijd niet zeker. Stijn de Boever, commercieel directeur bij de Belgische GP-organisator, heeft naar verluidt toegegeven dat het pas in januari bekend zal zijn of de bevestigde racedatum van 28 augustus voor 2022 daadwerkelijk door kan gaan.

De onzekerheid lijkt verband te houden met de renovatie van het legendarische circuit - in het bijzonder de herprofilering van het iconische Eau Rouge-Raidillon-complex waar de afgelopen jaren meerdere ernstige crashes hebben plaatsgevonden.

Meer informatie ontbreekt op dit moment, maar het kan dus zomaar zijn dat de Belgische race komend jaar niet gereden wordt.
