Silverstone is dit weekend de locatie voor de negende race van het seizoen, de Grand Prix van Groot-Brittannië. Het rechte stuk van start en finish is door de oplevering van het nieuwe pits- en paddockcomplex The Wing verplaatst naar het gedeelte tussen Club en Abbey. Ter voorbereiding op de Britse Grand Prix een rondje onboard over Silverstone met Jaime Alguersuari.
