ICM.com licht optie in sponsorcontract met AlphaTauri voor 2022

Scuderia AlphaTauri weet zich ook komend seizoen verzekerd van de steun van ICM.com. De Britse financiële dienstverlener heeft de optie in het contract voor 2022 gelicht. ICM.com voegde zich in mei 2021 bij het opleidingsteam van Red Bull. Het logo van de firma zal dit jaar weer op de nieuwe AT03 prijken en te zien zijn op de kleding van coureurs en teampersoneel.

ICM.com-directeur Shoaib Abedi: "Het is altijd in ons belang geweest om samen te werken met instellingen die dezelfde visie hebben als wij en het doet ons dan ook deugd om onze samenwerking met Scuderia AlphaTauri te verlengen. Dit team heeft zich het voorbije jaar bewezen als uitstekende partner voor ICM.com, beide partijen zijn immers continu op zoek naar meer performance en innovatie."

Met Pierre Gasly en Yuki Tsunoda achter het stuur verzekerde AlphaTauri zich afgelopen seizoen van een zesde plaats in het constructeurskampioenschap. De Italiaanse renstal hoopt al jaren om tot de top vijf door te dringen, iets wat voor 2022 ongetwijfeld weer op de agenda van teambaas Franz Tost staat. "2021 was een geweldig jaar en we kijken uit naar nog veel meer mooie jaren samen met AlphaTauri", aldus Abedi van ICM.com.
