Fantom verlengt het sponsorcontract met AlphaTauri voor 2022

Fantom fungeert ook komend Formule 1-seizoen als sponsor van Scuderia AlphaTauri. De firma, gespecialiseerd in blockchain-technologie, werkt sinds mei 2021 samen met het opleidingsteam van Red Bull. Het logo van Fantom krijgt een plekje op de neus en halo van de nieuwe AT03 en het bedrijf heeft ook coureurs Pierre Gasly en Yuki Tsunoda als ambassadeurs aan zich gebonden.

AlphaTauri-teambaas Franz Tost: "Het is een genot om betrokken te zijn bij een partner als Fantom en samen te werken met een visionair als Harry Yeh. We leven in een wereld waarin we cryptovaluta niet meer kunnen negeren en de impact van blockchain-technologie is overal. Autosport staat bekend om de ontwikkeling van nieuwe technologieën die de sport verbeteren en impact hebben op de echte wereld. Ik geloof dat deze technologie de potentie heeft om ieders leven fundamenteel te veranderen."

Harry Yeh vult namens Fantom-moederbedrijf Quantem Fintech Group aan: "We zijn verguld om onze reis met AlphaTauri te vervolgen. Pierre Gasly steunt Fantom al sinds onze begindagen en we zijn trots dat ook Yuki Tsunoda en het team ons bedrijf het voorbije jaar hebben gepromoot. Samen met hen willen we deze nieuwe technologie dichter bij de fans brengen door aandacht te vestigen op de uitgebreide mogelijkheden."
