Williams trekt nieuwe hygiënepartner aan

In tijden van het coronavirus is goede hygiëne zeer belangrijk. Overal ter wereld is dit inmiddels duidelijk en handenreiniger is bijvoorbeeld ingeburgerd in het straatbeeld. Ook in de Formule 1-wereld is dit duidelijk en zijn verregaande voorschriften omtrent het coronavirus inmiddels de normaalste zaak ter wereld. De teams weten dit ook en op commercieel gebied kan dit ook nuttig zijn.

Williams maakt vandaag namelijk bekend dat ze een nieuwe hygiënepartner hebben gevonden. De Britse renstal gaat samenwerken met het bedrijf That's it. Ze willen gezamenlijk de strijd aanbinden tegen virussen en bacteriën. Dat willen ze op een nieuwe innovatieve manier gaan doen.

Coating

Williams heeft een tweejarige deal gesloten met That's it. Dat betekent ook dat ze gezamenlijk maatregelen gaan nemen op de werkvloer. De nieuwe hygiënepartner gaat namelijk een coating aanbrengen in alle ruimtes van Williams. Deze coating moet bacteriën en virussen isoleren en daarmee beschermen ze het personeel. 

Circuit

Ook op de circuits zal men ook het één en ander merken van de samenwerking. De partner zal er namelijk voor zorgen dat de werknemers, coureurs en gasten goed worden beschermd tegen virussen en bacteriën. Het is een opvallende deal van het team dat dit jaar de strijd aangaat met Nicholas Latifi en Alexander Albon in de cockpit.

    Coronatijd of niet maar (goede) hygiëne is sowieso altijd belangrijk en een must(IMO).

      Denk er wel aan dat over-hygiëne, allergieën in de hand werkt. En het legt je immuunsysteem stil (als je erin gaat overdrijven). Luister naar je lichaam, en alles wordt automatisch weer ...

      Kan wel! .. En ik zuig het niet uit m'n duim maar 'n oom van me heeft dat product jaren geleden ontwikkelt voor de McDonalds, en was bedoeld om de handen van de werknemers te 'coaten'. In plaats van die doorzichtige handschoenen zou dit het (meer beschermende) alternatief worden. De reden was dat de firma jaarlijks 15.000 (!) voedseldoden op z'n geweten heeft door bacteriën. Ik verzin het niet jongens!! ...

    off-topic : Kan iemand me iets uitleggen? ..
    Rechts in de balk staat een lijst met rijders die bij Williams gereden hebben. Wat wil dat cijfertje zeggen achter de rijder? Rijder-nummer lijkt me logisch maar werd er dan eerder zoveel geswitched? Ik kan me dat niet meer herinneren ... Reden ze 'vroeger' elk seizoen met 'n ander nummer? ...
