Rosberg reageert grappend op Hamilton: "Ik voel het disrespect hier!"

Nico Rosberg en Lewis Hamilton konden jarenlang elkaars bloed wel drinken. De twee vochten als Mercedes-teamgenoten meerdere verhitte duels uit en duelleerden meermaals om de wereldtitel. Hun vriendschap verdween als sneeuw voor de zon en maakte plaats voor een reusachtige rivaliteit. Die strijd stopte pas toen Rosberg na zijn wereldtitel in 2016 zijn helm aan de wilgen hing.

Rosberg werd opgevolgd door Valtteri Bottas. De komst van de Fin zorgde voor een ware cultuurverandering bij Mercedes. Hamilton was nu de overduidelijke kopman en Bottas reed in dienst van de Brit. De twee hadden een goede band en konden het goed met elkaar vinden. Bottas is voor aankomend seizoen echter vervangen door George Russell. Toen dit nieuws naar buiten kwam noemde Hamilton de Fin zijn beste teamgenoot ooit.

Disrespect

Deze boodschap bereikte ook het oor van Nico Rosberg. De Duitser leek er echter niet zo mee te zitten. Bij Sky Sports reageerde hij er met een grote knipoog op. Rosberg sprak zich grappend uit: "Ik voel het disrespect hier. Ik bedoel, wat heb ik precies verkeerd gedaan dan?"

Aardverschuiving

Maar Rosberg zag ook heus wel dat de komst van Bottas voor een aardverschuiving bij Mercedes zorgde. De Fin was minder gewaagd aan Hamilton en dat hielp het team vooruit. Rosberg geeft het eerlijk toe: "Hij creëerde een goede en gezonde sfeer binnen het team. Dat was heel erg verschillend vergeleken met mijn tijd daar."

Het leuke van een platvorm als dit is dat je helemaal zelf bepaald wat je wel of niet leest.

Rosberg deed het heerlijk.
Aanvankelijk dacht ik dat het een rotjong was, maar hij heeft toch wel voor heel leuke situaties gezorgd.
Zeg nou zelf, iemand die pas op de plaats maakt of iemand die je aan het einde van het rechte stuk nog even laat zien van wie de laatste paar meters zijn?
