McLaren start nieuwe MCL36 voor het eerst

Over iets minder dan een maand ontwaakt de Formule 1-wereld uit zijn winterslaap. Dan begint namelijk de eerste wintertest in Barcelona en zullen de teams er moeten staan. Momenteel zijn de voorbereidingen nog in volle gang en veel teams bereiken belangrijke mijlpalen in de voorbereiding.

Ook bij het team van McLaren wordt er momenteel hard door gewerkt. Deze week bereikte het Britse team een belangrijke mijlpaal. Op de fabriek in Woking werd de nieuwe MCL36 tot leven gewekt. De Mercedes-motor werd onder grote belangstelling voor het eerst aangezet. Onder andere Andreas Seidl en Zak Brown waren aanwezig bij het grote moment.

McLaren is één van de teams die aankomend seizoen zomaar een grote stap kunnen zetten. De nieuwe reglementen kunnen immers voor een ware aardverschuiving zorgen. Op 11 februari trekt het team het doek van de nieuwe uitdager. Lando Norris en Daniel Ricciardo zijn nog steeds de coureurs van dienst.

      Ach, uiteindelijk komt het op de welbekende spreuk betreffende de snert uit:
      Als het begint te pruttelen, dan kan de worst erin.
      Vindt mijn vrouw nog steeds niet leuk als ik dat zeg.

      De vraag is wat Ouw doet als de zak reutelt.
