Haas trekt Nederlandse kledingsponsor aan

De Formule 1 is de afgelopen jaren steeds populairder geworden in Nederland. Dit komt vanzelfsprekend door de successen van Max Verstappen maar in zijn schaduw betreden steeds meer Nederlanders de sport. Ook bij het team van Haas zijn aankomend seizoen Nederlandse invloeden zichtbaar.

Het Amerikaanse team maakte namelijk vandaag bekend dat ze een meerderjarige deal hebben gesloten met het Nederlandse werkkleding bedrijf Tricorp Workwear. Dit Nederlandse bedrijf zal de duurzame teamkleding gaan leveren voor het team waar Nikita Mazepin en Mick Schumacher de coureurs zijn.

Het Nederlandse bedrijf leverde eerder al kleding aan teams in andere klassen maar betreedt nu voor het eerst de Formule 1. Haas-teambaas Günther Steiner laat in een persbericht weten in zijn nopjes te zijn met de deal: “Dit wordt het langste seizoen in de geschiedenis van de Formule 1 en het is dan ook cruciaal dat ons team comfortabele werkkleding kan dragen in de jacht op succes op de baan.”

    Komt t logo ook op de auto?

    Meestal verschijnen partners namelijk niet op de auto, maar enkel op kleding en de pitbox muren.

      mooi, dik vierkant logo. Zou n mooi wing-endplate'je kunnen sieren..-ohnee, die zitte er niet meer op!
      Op de enginecover of sidepod dan.. strax de reveal; we zullen zien of dr al n opnaaiembleempje opzit van TriCorp, al hoop ik ook op de wagen. hoe voller hoe beter.

    Zo'n sponsor had zich ook aan Nyck de Vries kunnen verbinden, dan had het Nyck wellicht geholpen aan een zitje in de F1. Het lijkt alsof Nederlandse bedrijven pas nu langzamerhand wakker worden en begrijpen wat de impact van F1 voor hun merk kan zijn.

    Dat is jammer, want een coureur als De Vries verdient wel een plek in de F1, maar zal zeker voor de kleinere teams gewoon geld moeten meenemen. En Nederlandse bedrijven zouden daarom zeer welkom zijn als sponsor om dat mogelijk te maken. De exposure van de F1 in Nederland is enorm en zit ook wereldwijd weer in de lift. Dus alle reden om daar de vruchten van te plukken.

      Nederlandse bedrijven komen nou eenmaal sloom op gang in tegenstelling tot onze regering die met wat er ook maar gebeurt er gelijk bovenop zit.
      Europa kijkt daar watertandend naar....

      Langzamerhand? Volgens mij zat Philips geplakt op een Williams... ING op renault, Shell op Ferrari. Randstad ook op Williams. TW Steel bij Force India. Rexona bij Williams.

      En nog een of ander biermerkje dat ik bij een sportcafe in mn handen krijg gedrukt en met regelmaat in beeld verschijnt langs de baan.

      Nederland is door de jaren heen toch wel goed te vinden geweest in de F1 paddock dacht ik zo.

      Voor veel grote Nederlandse bedrijven was een Nederlandse coureur niet interessant; omdat die zich vaak op de internationale markt richten en veel minder op de Nationale. Zij waren in Nederland al bekend genoeg, iedereen kende de merken.

      Dus het was ING, Philips of Randstad een worst of er een Nederlands talent gesteund kon worden, het ging erom dat in Azië, Amerika, Europa et cetera het merk bekend(er) werd. Een begrijpelijke strategie, maar voor de Nederlandse autosport wat ongelukkig.

      Je had natuurlijk een paar patjepeeërs, type Peridon, die voor ego en persoonlijke exposure wel eens gek deden en een sponsordeal aangingen. Meestal korte termijn werk....

      Gelukkig zijn er wel een paar CEO's die ook uit liefde voor de sport zijn gaan sponseren en dat ook blijven doen.Frits van Eerd is zo iemand. Veekay sponseren bijvoorbeeld heeft voor zijn merk weinig zin, geen Amerikaan kent het of kan er überhaupt gebruik van maken en de meeste Nederlanders hebben waarschijnlijk nog nooit van die jongen gehoord. En die prachtige gele Oreca in de Amerikaanse Endurance zal denk ik ook niet voor veel nieuwe klanten in Nederland zorgen?
