Red Bull onthult nieuwe wagen met speciale hulp van fans

Vandaag maakte Red Bull Racing bekend dat ze volgende week op 9 februari het doek trekken van hun gloednieuwe auto. De Oostenrijkse renstal zal dan voor het eerst de RB18 onthullen aan het grote publiek, het wordt de wagen waarmee Max Verstappen zijn wereldtitel gaat verdedigen. De onthulling zal op een speciale manier plaatsvinden.

Red Bull zal de wagen online onthullen. Hiervoor roepen ze de hulp in van hun trouwe fans. In totaal krijgen 5000 Red Bull-supporters de kans om het zogenaamde 'verhaal van 2022' als eerste te tonen op hun eigen social media-accounts. Het zal gaan om een multi-channel fan first experience. De details hiervan zijn echter nog niet bekend waardoor het nog eventjes gissen blijft naar het onthullingsmoment.

Red Bull is het eerste team dat hun nieuwe auto aan de buitenwereld zal tonen. Het is nog niet duidelijk of er aankomende week ook al een shakedown zal plaatsvinden. Daarnaast is het ook nog niet duidelijk of men de auto zal tonen in de definitieve livery. In het verleden toonde Red Bull hun nieuwe bolide vaak in tijdelijke kleurstellingen.
