Sebastian Vettel liet afgelopen weekend zien prima te kunnen racen op een koude ondergrond. De Duitser nam deel aan de Race of Champions op het Zweedse sneeuw en ijs. De Aston Martin-coureur vermaakte zich opperbest en dat was te merken aan de resultaten. Hij bereikte namelijk de finale van het individuele toernooi.

In de finale verloor hij van rallycoureur Sebastien Loeb. Hij mocht na afloop samen met de Fransman een grote beker in ontvangst nemen. Zoals altijd volgde hierop een moment voor champagne. Vettel had echter iets teveel moeite met de welbekende fles bubbels.
