Aston Martin onthult testschema testweek Barcelona

Volgende week woensdag, donderdag en vrijdag vindt de eerste testweek van de Formule 1 plaats. In Barcelona draaien de heren coureurs hun eerste rondjes in de nieuwe bolides. De drie testdagen vinden echter wel achter gesloten deuren plaats aangezien men in Bahrein de primeur heeft de seizoensstart.

De teams zijn hard bezig met de voorbereidingen op de eerste testweek. Enkele teams moeten nog het doek trekken van hun nieuwe wagen terwijl andere ploegen al lang en breed hun shakedown achter de rug hebben. Het team van Aston Martin was er vroeg bij, men presenteerde de wagen vroeg en voerde meteen een shakedown uit.

Nu is de Britse formatie in Canadese handen ook de eerste ploeg die hun testschema bekend maakt voor de aankomende week. Op woensdagochtend kruipt Sebastian Vettel achter het stuur, in de middag is het de beurt aan Lance Stroll. Op de donderdag is het precies andersom en begint Stroll de dag. Op de laatste testdag in Barcelona zal Vettel de dag aftrappen en sluit Stroll de testweek af.

Zo zie je maar dat de geruchten dat ze de pre season test in Barcelona over zouden slaan, omdat ze niet klaar zouden zijn ook nergens opslaan. 1 e shakedown en 1e met coureurs indeling.

Meerdere teams nemen de strategie die MB al een paar jaar doet over, dat zag je vorig jaar ook al.
Dag indeling met 2 piloten ipv met 1 piloot. Met de hoge bochtsnelheden en nek "nog niet op temperatuur" lijkt me dat een goeie keuze. Vraagt wat meer aanpassingen en dus tijd aan de wagen tijdens de switch naar instelling toe maar geeft ook een mooie feedback ifv te testen onderdelen en progressie.
