Nieuw podium Barcelona heeft de vorm van Barcelona

Op het circuit van Barcelona werd vorige maand de eerste wintertest van het jaar afgewerkt. De heren coureurs kennen het Catalaanse circuit dan ook als hun broekzak. Toch zullen ze bij de Spaanse Grand Prix stuiten op een gloednieuwe aanpassing aan de omloop nabij Barcelona.

Het circuit heeft namelijk het podium vervangen. Het nieuwe exemplaar is een wel heel erg bijzondere, het is namelijk in de vorm van het circuit zelf. Het is een vrij bijzondere vorm voor een podium en het is dan ook nog maar de vraag hoe praktisch dit is als er straks drie coureurs, een teamvertegenwoordiger en een handvol bobo's op moeten staan.

Dit hoor ik echt al jaren en elk jaar krijg je weer te horen dat Spa op het nippertje is gered. Iedereen wil op Spa racen en de overheid daar wil nooit betalen ( opzich terecht) en uiteindelijk komt alles goed.

    1 ding dat in amerika leuker is, is hun zogenaamde victory lane. Het gene wat weer jammer is van victory lane is dat alleen de winnaar er mag staan.

    Een podiumlane zou ik daarom wel leuk vinden. Hup met de lift omhoog. 3 autos op t podium.

      Trouwens Joep de Waalse gewest heeft niet zo lang geleden 7,5milj in spa gestoken dus ze krijgen wel degelijk steun ik vermoed dat dit was om de huidige werken te bekostigen of deels ervan, al is het wel bekend dat het Waalse gewest reeds meerdere keren de put heeft gevuld.
