Video: Russell nieuwe TikTok-ster van Mercedes

Regerend constructeurskampioen Mercedes maakte de afgelopen jaren niet alleen indruk op de baan, ook online lieten ze zich horen. De sociale media-afdeling heeft de zaakjes aardig op orde en dat lieten ze de afgelopen jaren met enige regelmaat zien. De ploeg maakte daarbij gretig gebruik van Valtteri Bottas.

De Fin speelde vaak de hoofdrol in dolkomische TikTok-filmpjes. Die video's zijn nu echter verleden tijd, Bottas is immers geen Mercedes-coureur meer. Zijn opvolger George Russell laat zien dat hij ook prima overweg kan met de korte komische video's, het is vast een grote opluchting voor de sociale media-afdeling.

      Wat doen andere merken dat beter is? Niet dat ik er van hou, maar volgensmij is tiktok nu een van de grootste social media platformen zoniet de grootste. Daar een slaatje uitslaan is zo gek nog niet.

      Gebruik van tiktok, snap ik. Maar qua kwaliteit is het filmpje toch bij lange na niet meer hetzelfde als voorheen. De 'spirit' lijkt hier te ontbreken.
