Video: Vrienden Vettel en Schumacher bespreken gezamenlijk hun sprintduel

Het is algemeen bekend dat Mick Schumacher en Sebastian Vettel zeer goede vrienden van elkaar zijn. De ervaren Vettel stelt zich regelmatig op als de mentor van zijn jongere landgenoot en collega. In de sprintrace in Imola duelleerden de twee voor het eerst echt samen op de baan.

Schumacher kwam uiteindelijk als winnaar uit de bus en mag de race vanmiddag als tiende starten. Het is zijn beste startpositie ooit. Vettel moet de race vanaf de dertiende plaats starten maar was na afloop wel trots op zijn vriend. De twee gaven achteraf zelfs gebroederlijk interviews af.
