Het gloednieuwe circuit is klaar om in gebruik te worden genomen. Het circuit kent bijzondere bochten en gaat deels over de straat heen, waarbij sommige stukken wel speciaal zijn aangelegd. Het meest bijzondere aan dit circuit is de nep haven. 

De haven heeft geen water, maar een look a like. De vergunning was niet rond om er echt water in te kunnen krijgen.

    Een nep haven? Nep water? Die Amerikanen zijn hier meesters in. Is ook meteen het bewijs geleverd dat de eerste maanlanding eind jaren zestig ook gewoon nep was... ;-)

      Dat hele land is nep. Er is in werkelijkheid geen race en zelfs geen land. Race wordt gewoon in een studio gedaan, net als die maanlanding

      Maar aan de andere kant, als iets even tegen zit zoals een vergunningje, dan zijn die amerikanen wel creatief. Niet bij de pakken neer zitten maar gewoon een alternatief bedenken. Ik heb begrepen dat oorspronkelijk hier een echte haven zou moeten komen

      Grappig is dan weer dat ik hier in Noord Amerika hoor dat Nederlanders het hier relatief zo goed doen omdat, als er door de autoriteiten gezegd wordt dat geen vergunning verstrekt wordt, zij dat simpelweg nooit zo accepteren maar meteen doorvragen wat er dan gebeuren moet.

      Maar misschien is dat omdat ze daarom uit Nederland vertrokken zijn? Helaas moet je hier overal een vergunning voor aanvragen. (Volgens mij verkapte belastingen)

      De haven is simpelweg vinyl op triplex platen. Geen verf aan te pas gekomen.

    Ik had gehoopt en verwacht op een stratencircuit in Miami Beach, Alton rd, Ocean dr en een stukje Collins ave oid.
    Wie weleens in Miami Beach is geweest weet waar ik het over heb, een tante van mij woont in Homestead en ben dan ook heel vaak in Miami en Miami Beach geweest, machtig mooi!
    Maar dan had je echt alles gehad met echt water, echte havens en echte boten ala Monaco, maar dit slaat helemaal nergens op.
