Ralf Schumacher haalt uit naar sieraden-dissidenten Vettel en Hamilton: "Kinderachtig"

Op de eerste twee dagen van het Grand Prix-weekend in Miami ging het vooral over sieraden en ondergoed. Wedstrijdleider Niels Wittich heeft de regelgeving omtrent het dragen van niet brandwerend ondergoed en sieraden in de cockpit namelijk aangescherpt. De coureurs waren nogal kritisch over de strenge regels.

De regelgeving bestaat al geruime tijd maar men leefde ze niet echt na. Wittich besloot in Australië de coureurs maar eens extra te wijzen op het regelboek, de coureurs reageerden echter cynisch. In Miami heeft Wittich de teugels strakker aangetrokken en in theorie kunnen de coureurs nu tegen diskwalificatie aanlopen bij het negeren van de regels.

Grosjean

Lewis Hamilton was niet bepaald te spreken over de regels en verscheen met extra veel sieraden bij de persconferentie op vrijdagochtend. Sebastian Vettel haalde een ludieke actie uit en liep met een onderbroek over zijn racepak door de paddock. Oud-coureur Ralf Schumacher ergert zich groen en geel aan de acties. Bij de Duitse tak van Sky Sports is hij fel: "Ze moeten zich inzetten voor de veiligheid! Vooral na die crash van Romain Grosjean zouden de coureurs beter moeten weten."

Kinderachtig

Schumacher vindt dan ook dat de coureurs aan de jeugd moeten denken. De uitgesproken voormalige Formule 1-coureur haalt fel uit naar de rebelse Vettel en Hamilton: "De FIA heeft op dit punt absoluut gelijk! De jeugd in de Formule 4 en de Formule 3 moeten zien dat de Formule 1-coureurs zich aan de regels houden. Wanneer de ervaren jongens zoals Vettel en Hamilton dit soort dingen gaan doen, dan is dat gewoon kinderachtig."

Nou nou. Je hebt dus Duitsers met en zonder humor duidelijk...

Niet alles hoeft zo serieus genomen te worden en als ze zich gewoon aan de regels houden (in dit geval verwacht ik dat Vettel dit sowieso doet) dan kan een grapje best wel

  Iedereen houd zich aan de regels. Behalve onze sir. Die beweert dat zijn ijzerwaren niet verwijderd kunnen worden.

Zo'n tepelpiercing lijkt me toch wat teveel schuren met die gordels. Ik sluit echter niet uit dat sommigen dat lekker vinden.
