Andretti gaat demorun rijden in een McLaren in Austin

De Grand Prix van Miami werd afgelopen weekend bezocht door veel bekende koppen. Naast alle filmsterren, celebrity's en sporters kwamen er ook de nodige racelegendes op de Grand Prix af. De legendarische coureurs Mario Andretti en Emerson Fittipaldi waren eveneens aanwezig op het gloednieuwe circuit in Miami Gardens.

Enkelvoudig wereldkampioen Andretti babbelde in Miami veelvuldig met McLaren-CEO Zak Brown. De twee Amerikanen konden het perfect met elkaar vinden en bespraken het één en ander. Brown laat namelijk weten dat Andretti zijn opwachting gaat maken bij de Amerikaanse Grand Prix in Austin, later dit jaar. De 82-jarige Andretti zal in Austin namelijk een demorun rijden in een oude McLaren. Het is nog niet bekend welke bolide hij gaat besturen.
