Het voorlopige startveld voor 2023

Sergio Perez verlengde eerder deze week zijn contract bij het team van Red Bull Racing. De Mexicaan staat nu tot en met 2024 onder contract bij de Oostenrijkse renstal. Hij zal tot die tijd de teamgenoot van Max Verstappen zijn, de Nederlander staat tot en met 2028 onder contract bij het team.

Dankzij de contractverlenging van Perez krijgt het startveld van 2023 steeds meer vorm. Vier teams hebben nu hun rijdersduo voor volgend jaar rond: Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari en McLaren. Bij Alfa Romeo is Valtteri Bottas voor volgend jaar zeker van zijn zitje, Esteban Ocon heeft die zekerheid bij Alpine en ook Kevin Magnussen is volgend jaar weer actief bij Haas. De teams van AlphaTauri, Aston Martin en Williams hebben nog geen enkele coureur voor volgend seizoen onder contract staan.

      Ik zie Drugovich nog wel bij McLaren instappen.

      Alpine Ocon en Piastri met reserve rijder Pouchaire.
      Ricciardo gaat niet naar AT. Denk dat hij eerder zal stoppen.
