Op het Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal kwam het op de donderdag met de bakken uit de hemel. Het hele circuit stond blank door al het regenwater en dat leverde ongebruikelijke plaatjes op.

Het onstuimige weer wordt ook dit weekend verwacht. Of dat ten koste gaat van de verschillende sessies blijft afwachten, maar de coureurs kunnen voor de zekerheid hun regenpak aantrekken en paraplu meenemen.

Tijdens de vrije trainingen op vrijdag zal het redelijk warm zijn in Montreal, het wordt ongeveer 25 graden Celsius. Ondanks de hitte moeten de coureurs serieus rekening houden met neerslag. Tijdens de tweede vrije training is de kans op regen het grootst, er is zelfs een reële kans om onweersbuien rondom het circuit.

Ook tijdens de kwalificatie kan het gaan regenen. Vrijwel de gehele dag kunnen er buien vallen, ook tijdens de kwalificatie. Het zal tevens iets kouder zijn, zo'n 14 graden. Het is nog niet duidelijk of de kwalificatie in de regen zal verlopen, een opdrogende baan of dreigende buien zijn tevens mogelijk. Op de zondag hoeven de coureurs geen rekening te houden met neerslag. De zon zal flink schijnen en neerslag is uitgesloten.

Er is zelfs een tornado waarschuwing afgegeven voor vandaag. Morgen kan het nog regenen maar zondag is het droog.

  Niet gisteren voor gisteren. Het staat in dat artikel een beetje raar, maar ik had meerdere bronnen die vrijdag hebben vermeld.

  Mijn bron is een forumlid op het Tech forum die in Montreal woont en die zei gisteren dat ze voor gistermiddag en avond een tornado waarschuwing af hadden gekondigd, maar dat daarna geen waarschuwingen meer van kracht zouden zijn, aangezien het weer een stuk rustiger zou worden.
  Gisteren was extreem, de slechtste dag van de week.
