Latifi rijdt met speciaal helmontwerp voor eigen fans

Nicholas Latifi rijdt dit weekend voor het eerst een Grand Prix voor zijn thuispubliek. Dankzij het coronavirus kon de Canadese Grand Prix twee jaar op rij niet doorgaan en daardoor heeft de Williams-coureur nog nooit kunnen genieten van zijn landgenoten op de tribune.

Latifi werkte zojuist zijn eerste vrije training voor zijn thuispubliek af en daarbij viel iets op. Latifi reed namelijk met een bijzonder helmontwerp. De Canadees heeft voor zijn thuisrace gekozen voor een helm in de kleuren van de Canadese vlag, ook het aangepaste logo van Williams siert zijn helm.
