Vettel rijdt met bijzondere bijenhelm in Oostenrijk

Sebastian Vettel rijdt dit weekend in Spielberg wederom met een zeer speciale helm, met wederom een activistische ondertoon. Vetel rijd dit weekend namelijk met een helm in het zwart en geel. Bovenop zijn helm staat de tekst 'Save the bees'. Het helmontwerp is dan ook gebaseerd op het uiterlijk van de bij.

Vettels hem heeft ook enkele bijen in het design. Het is geen onverwachte kleurstelling van de Duitse coureur. Vettel kwam vorig seizoen al op voor de bijen in Oostenrijk. Tussen de twee races in Spielberg door bouwde hij vorig seizoen een bijenhotel met enkele lokale schoolkinderen. Dit jaar ging hij voor het Oostenrijkse Grand Prix-weekend langs bij het hotel om samen met de kinderen de voortgang te bekijken.
