McLaren snelste bij de pitstops in Oostenrijk

Tijdens de Oostenrijkse Grand Prix van afgelopen weekend kozen veel teams voor een tweestopper of een driestopper. In de pitstraat was dan ook veel te beleven en een snelle pitstop was op het korte circuit zeer belangrijk. Het regende dan ook zeer snelle stops op de Red Bull Ring.

Het team van McLaren was de snelste bij het wisselen van de banden. De pitcrew van de Britse renstal wisselde de banden van Daniel Ricciardo in slechts 2,25 seconden. Hiermee was McLaren slechts 0,02 seconden langzamer dan de snelste pitstop van het seizoen. Red Bull Racing eindigde als tweede met een stop van 2,33 seconden bij Max Verstappen. Williams maakte de top drie compleet door de banden van Nicholas Latifi binnen 2,38 seconden te vervangen.
