Gasly grapt over 'buurman' Tsunoda: "Hij is een lastpak"

Yuki Tsunoda leeft sinds zijn vormdip van vorig jaar 2021 vlakbij de fabriek van zijn team AlphaTauri in Italië en niet ver van het huis van teamgenoot Pierre Gasly. De komst van Tsunoda bleef niet onopgemerkt voor de eenmalig Grand Prix-winnaar.

"Hij is een lastpak, oh mijn god", grapte de 26-jarige in een recent interview met Tauri Talk. "Ja, het is niet makkelijk om elke dag met hem om te gaan, zeker niet in het weekend! Gelukkig hebben we twee verschillende kamers. Hij blijft elke keer proberen in mijn kamer in te breken, maar nu is het oké", zei Gasly met een knipoog.

Gasly vertelde ook over een etentje dat niet helemaal volgens plan verliep. "Ik denk dat hij misschien een uitnodiging krijgt voor een ander diner op een bepaald moment in Milaan," zei hij. "De laatste keer dat we het organiseerden was het een behoorlijke ramp omdat hij een uur te laat kwam. Gelukkig waren we met andere mensen, maar hij vindt het leuk om zich te misdragen, maar hij had zijn eigen redenen. Dus het is allemaal goed, hij krijgt nog een kans", voegde hij eraan toe.
