Alfa Romeo wisselt coureurs voor vrijdag op Paul Ricard

Robert Kubica gaat Valtteri Bottas, huidig coureur voor het team van Alfa Romeo, vervangen tijdens de eerste vrije training op het circuit Paul Ricard, waar aankomend weekend de Grand Prix van Frankrijk verreden gaat worden.

Net zoals voor de Vries zal het niet de eerste keer zijn dat Kubica, beiden geen hoofdcoureur voor een Formule 1-team, een vrije training zal gaan overnemen.

Ditmaal mag de Pool het stokje overnemen van Bottas. Eerder dit jaar mocht Kubica tijdens de Grand Prix van Spanje tijdens ook de eerste vrije training al het stoeltje overnemen van Zhou Guanyu, de Chinees die dit seizoen zijn debuut maakte in de Formule 1.
