Formule 1 en FIA lanceren campagne tegen haatdragend gedrag

Er is de afgelopen tijd veel te doen over het gedrag van fans in de Formule 1. In Groot-Brittannië en Oostenrijk werd er schande gesproken van het gedrag van fans tijdens die Grands Prix. Ook online worden er veel haatdragende reacties achter gelaten richting teams, coureurs en andere fans.

Autosportfederatie FIA en de Formule 1 hebben besloten in te grijpen. Gisteren lanceerde men een campagne om haat, zowel offline als online, keihard tegen te gaan. In een video werd de campagne #DriveItOut gelanceerd. Onder andere Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Formule 1-CEO Stefano Domenicali en FIA-president Mohammed Ben Sulayem komen aan het woord in de veel gedeelde video.

    Je moet tegenwoordig echt opletten wat je zegt. Want voor je het weet heb je iemand op de tenen getrapt. Verbeter de wereld, forum, of wat dan ook. Begin dan bij jezelf. Een goed voorbeeld doet volgen.

      Weet iemand überhaupt nog wie precies zich op de teentjes getrapt voelde ?
      Ik vraag het maar omdat dit soort dingen erg snel een eigen leven gaan leiden, en voor je het weet heb je generaties lang oorlog, moord, doodslag, familievetes en en een mopperende buurman, enkel omdat je een keer per ongeluk je voordeur iets te hard liet dichtvallen, net toen hij z'n middagdutje deed.

    Ow ja, de nieuws makers hebben ook haat aan hun handen door kopteksten ed. Haat en nijd en uitlokkende berichten mag gewoon, goed voor de kliks op het bericht. Als je de kanker niet op tijd bestrijd spreidt het verder tot er niks meer aan gedaan kan worden. Dus media, willen jullie van de haat af? begin bij jezelf!

      Dat kan het zelfs in gang gezet hebben. Het probleem zit hem in de anonimiteit die platforms bieden zodat het makkelijker is mensen te bedreigen verrot te schelden enz enz. Het is te gek voor woorden, maar er word haast niet ingegrepen. Sterker nog, mensen die nieuws berichten schrijven geven toe graag olie op het vuur te gooien. De media blijven olie op het vuur gooien, en dan vragen ze zich af waar al die haat vandaan komt. De gevolgen worden steeds duidelijk zichtbaarder. Als zij nu eens beginnen met niet steeds met olie te gooien, en de moderatie in orde heeft. Kan het nog goed komen. Anders blijft de haat en nijd alleen maar groeien. Dit is niet de wereld die ik wou achterlaten voor de volgende generatie, opgroeien in een tijd waar haat en verdeling alleen maar groeit kan niet gezond zijn.
